HuaWoo Diary is a floral studio specializing in bridal bouquets and venue installation. The founder, Ali, finds beauty in everyday encounters and holds relationships and appreciation at the core of what she does.

椛塢記事是花藝師—孟妍的個人品牌。椛塢記事意指「以花記敘花園裡的故事」,是孟妍對生活的想法。

To Ali, all of life is a series of seeds, and every encounter plants a unique seed in our emotional diary. Through time and care, the seed will grow into blossoms and become a part of our lives.

The brand’s mission is to provide its clients with a visual way of re-interpreting their stories, who they are, and transform them into floral presentations. Like a sanctuary, coming to HuaWoo means coming as an open book and trusting a piece of yourself, a part of your personal diary, with the hands of HuaWoo’s.

最初與孟妍討論品牌形象方針的時候,問及她怎麼會決心投入花藝這門事業的契機。正如她希望記述他人的故事一般,她也將自己的故事轉交給我,與我分享了關於家人及過往日常觀察的動人經歷。

她相信生活的經歷就像那一顆顆的種子,而人的靈魂會隨著種子的發芽與綻放越來越溫暖。身為花藝師,孟妍知道自己不只是一個綁花的人,而是一個用花,將相遇者的故事包裹在花葉之間,紀錄、承遞溫度的角色。

Keeping in mind what the brand strives to provide, we came up with a color plan that reflects the essence of HuaWoo: warm and caring, open-minded, approachable, seasoned yet elegant. Our goal was to create an image that will be well-accepted within the industry while capable of standing out in the market by speaking in its own voice.

在獨立花藝師越來越多的現今,不同於單純的一次性捧花、商業類花藝服務,椛塢記事希望以花藝為乘載的媒介,提供人們情感的庇護。在繁雜的現代社會中,一次性消費固然可以帶來一時的滿足,達成短暫的目的,但椛塢最終想滋養的,是能夠長期維繫的人際關係與感情。

以這樣的想法為前提,我們找出了屬於椛塢記事的關鍵字眼,其中包括了:靈魂的溫度、自然淡雅、愛與傾聽、溫柔而堅強、低調賦有質感等,進而透過這些情感方面的聯想,整理出椛塢的品牌情緒版(mood board*),決定了屬於椛塢的色調、質感與整體呈現。

品牌識別標誌(logo)方面,以手繪的「記事本」內有花朵盛開的樣貌為主題性的代表,搭配使用了無襯線(sans serif)字體與單線手寫藝術字,以簡約的排版為走向,色彩表現則以低調的暖色系調性為主。

名片設計方面選擇了低彩的馬諦斯紙,是最能夠完美演繹椛塢氣質的一款紙材。沒有多餘的燙印,讓油墨壓印與交疊呈現出有層次的質感,並以對錶加工,留給背面的資訊一個乾淨的版面。

呈現自己赤裸的一面並不是缺陷的代表,而是勇氣的表現。

原本我以為設計logo,不過是把我的想法圖像化而已,但Deborah讓我以分享故事的方式,釐清自己對品牌的定位、走向、風格,替我整理出一份品牌的方案,真的讓我很感動!從一開始的討論與構思,就一直讓我很驚豔,找Deborah做品牌識別是成立工作室初期做最對的一個決定!
